Singapore is really really REALLY humid!!!! it is insanely humid and i always feel dirty because of the weather which makes everyone perspire like a leaking tap! haha! :) but had a good day today!! my legs are so sore!!! its okay nice legs nice legs nice legs, the heat and all the walking cause will help me achieve my goal of nice legs :)

Woke up early (though according to sarahh im no longer living in melbourne's time zone) and bummed around the house, got to skype with my uncle and aunt who's in america with my cousins! though my cousins were all asleep in bed when we skyped! :) then rushed to meet nachan in town! :D We went to bugis and ate there.. i didnt get what i felt like eating (haha sarahhhh can you guess what it is?? food court.. prawns.. noodles? :P) :( but all good! we sat and chatted for a long time before deciding to get off our butts to start shopping cause nachan had clothes she needed to buy! :) so headed across the road - it was INSANELY humid!!! :( i bought a top! and she bought denim shorts, and 2 tops! we shopped for ages! like 4 hours my legs were killing me.. then she had to head towards home to meet a friend so i bobbed around in town/ion myself! went to prologue to buy some stationery and bought a book to read cause i had an hour to kill before meeting ivy! :) :)

Met ivy at around 615 and we decided to go on an adventure towards paya lebar cause one of her uni friends (hui jun) lives around there.. and was planning to drive to town but didnt know how to so needed us to help direct her! Anyway got in the car.. and oh man ivy is the worst person to drive with :P hahahahah! and can i just say.. driving in singapore is so scary!!!!!!! Anyway finally headed back to where i left off - ion! after like 1hr+++ :) twas a good adventure and apparently i am very good to have in the car!!! whereas ivy is... useless :P teehheh kidding! she said she was helpful cause she brought me along! Got to ion where i met some of ivy's other friends - cheryl and michael! :) we walked around ion trying to find something to eat! we honestly went to 10+ different restaurants only to change our minds because
1. the queues were insanely long
there were other reasons that i cant remember now :P but finally settled on eating dinner at fareast! :) sat there and chilled+chatted for a very long time before heading back to ion so cheryl could buy her mom a cake! :) then bobbed around for a while before i decided to head home cause i was really tired :P ahhhh they were such nice people :) :) and so friendly!!! :D :D they sang to taylor swift/taio cruz/bruno mars/katy perry! with me and werent afraid of being embarrassed in public though ivy pretended she was really embarrassed but im sure she secretly enjoyed it :P tehehehehehe!

oh and apparently i dont sound singaporean and have a bit of an accent! :P yes i know im sure many of you australians are laughing :P teheheheheh! i was quite amused! :) OH OH OH and i bumped into joce, a friend from lauriston at ion!!!! another thing that got me really amused!!! :D :D didnt bring my cam but huijun took some photos! will grab them once she puts them up on facebook and post them up here!

i learnt something today too!! some cars in singapore have red based number plates instead of black based ones. apparently its because these cars are cars that can only be on the road before 7am or after 7pm or on the weekends only becuase roadtax is cheaper for them!! pretty cool eh! :D

I'm also impatiently awaiting the weekend.. even though everyday is like the weekend to me!! Meeting Keshia (a uni friend coming down from melbourne and stopping in singapore for a day on her way to sri-lanka) on sat morning, sleeping over at nachan's sat night, heading to sentosa on sunday morning and spending the day there and GOING TO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS!!!!!, staying the night at a hotel her parents booked for us (greg her and i), then spending monday there! so excited!!! :) have part of next week nearly all booked out and SARAHH GETS HOME IN 9 DAYS.. NOT THIS SUNDAY BUT NEXT!!!!!! the countdown has finally hit its first single digit! speaking of which i need to text her mom to remind her that im coming to get sare from the airport with them! Hope sare isnt too jet lagged :) :) IM SO SO PUMPED!!!!!! yayyies! am so tired now, going to take my 3rd shower of the day cause im smelly sweaty and dirty :P teeehehe hope everyone had a good day too! toodles poodles! :)
